Situated in the heart of Lakewood, nestled among a multitude of חשובה קהילות, residesישיבה גדולה דובר צדק. Founded by its ראש ישיבה, הרב יעקב ישראל שאנבלום, the ישיבה was established with the goal of creating a מקום תורה where בחורים who aspire to grow and achieve can do so in a warm environment in which each בחור is encouraged to reach his fullest potential and experience the all-encompassing feeling of success. 

Upon entering the בית מדרש duringסדרים, the first of which is led by the ראש הישיבה and the second by the מנהל, הרב שמואל יעקב לויתן, one is overcome by the fiery קול תורה. The שיעורים are geared to involve the עולם in a give-and-take, allowing everyone to taste the געשמאק of מלחמתה של תורה. 

A variety of programs are in place with the purpose of encouraging each בחור to tap into his inner reserves of strength to push himself a bit more, beyond his previously perceived limitations. Shabbatons, voluntary בחינות, a trip to Eretz Yisrael, and מתן שכרה בצדה encourage the בחורים to accomplish the unprecedented.  

Iהלכה סדר with רב חנוך זאלץ, a renowned פוסק in BMG, has a prominent place, with an emphasis on practical הלכה such as הלכות שבת and בשר וחלב, equipping the בחורים with lifelong attainments. 

Iלימוד מוסר with ועדים and shmuessen from the הנהלה, which emphasize self-development in ,תורהיראת שמים, and מידות טובות, is another significant aspect of each day at the ישיבה. 

Iבחסדי ה', the ישיבה’s alumni are a testament to the הצלחה of the ישיבה in setting the בחורים on a lifelong path of true בני תורה who have retained what they accomplished in ישיבה and use it as springboard to continue to nurture the seeds that were sown in ישיבה גדולה דובר צדק.
